Developed a strategic communications plan to align the culture and build trust between employees and the leadership team. This plan included messaging for critical initiatives so that employees would understand priorities and how the initiatives related to each other and the overall strategy. A communication framework and processes were created as a foundation for the new communications department.
The communication strategy relied heavily on helping managers be effective communicators by supplying them with the right tools; customizing content to the target audience; determining the right communication vehicle for the right audience and making content concise, consistent and compelling.
Key performance indicators, including financial targets and results from annual culture survey, were identified to benchmark results.
