Freshly formed, this energy company needed a communications audit and internal communications for the new organization.
Conducted a communications survey to determine if employees understood the company’s goals and how both office and field employees preferred to receive information. The results were used to plan the content and vehicles for communications.
Communication vehicles were changed to align with employee preferences; communication materials dropped the technical language and a new transparency was achieved with simple language; employees learned what they could do to create a safety culture; and a new Hydraulic Fracturing 101 website gave employees the information they need to understand the process and address any questions they received.
